Excellence Awards

At AEI, we are strong believers in cultivating and rewarding excellence. As such, we have established the AEI Excellence in Education Awards and the AEI Excellence in STEM Education Awards to recognize and reward educators who demonstrate an exceptional level of innovation, passion and skill in their work. Awards finalists are invited to showcase their strategies at the Excellence in Education Conference and the Excellence in STEM Education Conference, at the end of which the Award recipients are announced.

Nominations open September 1st, 2016.

The deadline for nominations is March 1st, 2017.

Award recipients are announced in June, 2017 at the AEI Excellence in STEM Education Conference.

The AEI Excellence in STEM Education Awards were established to inspire educators in the STEM fields and reward educators with a passion for science, mathematics, engineering or technology, who are able to inspire their students and demonstrate an exceptional level of innovation, skill and enthusiasm in their teaching.

The recipients of the AEI Excellence in STEM Education Awards will be announced at the end of the STEM Excellence in Education Conference in June. The Excellence in Stem Education Conference is a two day conference, designed to inspire educators in the science, technology, engineering and mathematics areas. The Conference will showcase the work of educators in the STEM fields, who have been nominated for AEI’s Excellence in STEM Education Awards. Divided into streams, finalists will give a 20 minute presentation outlining the innovative strategies they use as educational professionals and their tips for inspiring students in the STEM fields. The Conference will also showcase the brilliance of individuals who have excelled in STEM-related professions, with keynote speeches by four individuals on what inspires, motivates and challenges them. The Awards will be presented at the conference dinner; an evening which includes panel discussions, speeches by special guest speakers, announcement of award winners, a live band, three course dinner, and more.
